Gary Stadtmauer, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Stadtmauer is a New York native and proud to be one of the leading NYC doctors treating chronic cough. He is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine training at St. Luke’s Hospital and his allergy-immunology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine and allergy-immunology. He is an assistant professor of medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Stadtmauer has a strong interest in both patient and physician education.  His teaching activities include training allergy fellows at Mt Sinai Medical Center,  writing articles and an allergy blog for the WebMD physician site (Medscape) and maintaining this website as well as our youtube site.  Dr. Stadtmauer serves on the editorial board of Medscape  and is the past chair of the cough committee of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.  Dr. Stadtmauer’s areas of interest include asthma, latex allergy, chronic cough and sinusitis.  Dr. Stadtmauer is passionate about his volunteer work with the Healthright International Human Rights Clinic where he also trains physician volunteers.  His work with asylum seekers has been profiled in local and national media. He has a number of publications in the medical literature.
